SOLUTION: In the intercom system including a living room master unit installed in a room, the entrance slave unit installed in an entrance, and a portable terminal which is owned by a visitor and is portable, the living room master slave or the entrance slave unit includes an information storage part for storing information of a sentence to the effect of being absent, a map image, or the like, and an information transmission part for transmitting time information by radio, and the portable terminal includes an information receiving part for receiving information transmitted from the information transmission part, and an information display part for displaying the received information.
