A COMPOSITION CONTAINING PIG TESTIS EXTRACTS FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING ANEMIA

PURPOSE: A composition containing pig testis extract M2 for preventing and treating anemia is provided to induce hemoglobin level and to enhance hematopoietic stem cell proliferation. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing pig testis extract M2 comprises: a step of adding a extraction solvent to pig testis and homogenizing; a step of filtering homogenized solution to remove residue; a step of removing the solvent, mixing alcohol and NaOH, and double-boiling; a step of adjusting activity by pH 2-3 and adding an organic solvent to collect supernatant; and a step of drying the collected supernatant. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating amnesia contains the pig testis extract M2 as an active ingredient.
