<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of maintaining white balance equivalent to that when shipping even though it is used over a long term. <P>SOLUTION: The projector includes: a light source unit having an exciting light irradiation device in which a plurality of blue light sources are divided into a predetermined number of groups and output control can be performed for every group, a fluorescent wheel which receives emitted light from the exciting light irradiation device and emits fluorescent light of a green wavelength band and diffused light of a blue wavelength band, and a red light source; and a light source control information storage means in which driving voltage information of every group applied to the blue light source of each group when projecting the blue wavelength band light, and red light source driving voltage information applied to the red light source when projecting red wavelength band light are stored. The driving voltage information of every group is generated by adjusting a driving voltage value applied to the blue light source for every group so that illuminance distribution of blue projected light may be approximate to that of red projected light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
