<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method of antioxidation substance for skin cosmetics, capable of selectively and quickly evaluating superoxide anion radical elimination capability. <P>SOLUTION: In the simple screening method on the oxidation-antioxidation level of a skin for development of functional cosmetics or a skin external remedy having antioxidation capacity, an antioxidation substance is added to pseudocorneum intercellular lipid model and set it as a sample, and the sample is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, thereby superoxide anion radical intensity is measured with a sensor for superoxide anion radical concentration measurement and is then compared with the superoxide anion radical intensity of a blank pseudo-corneum intercellular lipid model and is then evaluated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
