摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit wherein an interlayer disposed between a light emitting layer and diffraction elements has a film thickness allowing to be uniformly and evenly manufactured while light extraction efficiency is high and luminance unevenness can be reduced. SOLUTION: The display unit has an interlayer which is located between the light emitting layer and diffraction elements and formed of at least one layer. The interlayer has the film thickness of 500-2,000 nm, and has the average refractive index larger than that of the light emitting layer. When the value obtained from the product of the average refractive index of the interlayer and the film thickness of the interlayer is set as the optical path length of the interlayer, the optical path length of the interlayer satisfies the formula (1) wherein, m: integer of≥0,λ<SB>0</SB>: wavelength in a vacuum, n<SB>m</SB>: average refractive index of the interlayer, d: film thickness of the interlayer, n<SB>L</SB>: refractive index of the light emitting layer.
