TOUCH INPUT PROCESSING METHOD AND MOBILE TERMINAL

A touch input processing method and a mobile terminal are provided, and the mobile terminal has a rectangular touch screen with a long edge and a short edge, and the mobile terminal has two states, wherein, the state that only the short edge is in parallel with the horizontal is a first state, and the state that only the long edge is in parallel with the horizontal is a second state. The method includes: when the mobile terminal is in the first state, a gesture which is input by a touch object on the touch screen and has a first direction is obtained through the touch screen; a first touch command is triggered according to the gesture which has the first direction; when the mobile terminal is in the second state, a gesture which is input by a touch object on the touch screen and has a second direction is obtained through the touch screen, and the first direction is the same as the second direction; the first touch command is triggered according to the gesture which has the second direction. According to the conversion of the mobile terminal itself, it is enabled that the one operation command is provided with a uniform operation gesture, and therefore, the user experience is improved.
