PURPOSE: An image sensor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance loss rate of incident light by acquiring two more colour information at one pixel. CONSTITUTION: A photo diode(140) is formed in each pixel region of a substrate(110). A conductive polymer colour filter(160) is formed at each pixel in the upper part of the photo diode. A microlens is formed on the color filter. The conductive polymer colour filter includes the first conductive polymer colour filter and the second conductive polymer colour filter. The first conductive polymer colour filter is formed on an upper part of the first photodiode. The second conductive polymer colour filter is formed on an upper part of the second photodiode.
