PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a block copolymer is provided to ensure excellent productivity due to fast polymerization rate and to prepare a block copolymer with an improved heat sealable property at low temperature, transparency, heat resistance and blocking resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a block copolymer comprises the steps of: forming a first copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 78-99 weight% of propylene, 0.5-7 weight% of ethylene, and 0.5-15 weight% of 1-butene through a bulk polymerization reaction; forming a second copolymer obtained by copolymerizing 40-90 weight% of propylene, 5-30 weight% of ethylene, and 5-30 weight% of 1-butene through a gas phase polymerization reaction; and performing block copolymerization of the first and second copolymers.
