PURPOSE: A surface treating method of an annealing roll and a surface-treated annealing roll are provided to prevent foreign materials from being attached on the surface of the annealing roll. CONSTITUTION: A surface treating method of an annealing roll is as follows. A thermal spraying layer is formed on the surface of an annealing roll through a thermal spraying method(S10). A post-processing coating layer is formed by coating the thermal spraying layer with a post-processing coating material(S20). The post-processing coating material comprises metal alkoxide 5~30 weight% and boron nitride 5~50 weight%.
