<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use functions of electronic equipment having higher functions in a plurality of pieces of electronic equipment having the same function. <P>SOLUTION: A master terminal (for example, a watch), namely an own apparatus, determines whether there are slave terminals in the circumference (step S104). When a slave terminal (for example, a clock) having the same function exists in the circumference, it is determined whether the appropriateness of the slave terminal is higher than that of the own apparatus (step S106). When the appropriateness of the slave terminal is higher than that of the own apparatus, alarm function setting information is transmitted to the slave terminal (step S110).
