The method for welding of two aluminum components (10, 12) for a car, comprises welding the aluminum components to each other by a laser beam on a welding position (14), to which a filler material is supplied, which is brought as a filler wire (16) contacting one of the aluminum components on the welding position. The filler wire contacts both aluminum components on the welding position in lateral direction in power-free manner. The aluminum components are welded to each other over an overlap-free butt joint or a bordering seam impact. The method for welding of two aluminum components (10, 12) for a car, comprises welding the aluminum components to each other by a laser beam on a welding position (14), to which a filler material is supplied, which is brought as a filler wire (16) contacting one of the aluminum components on the welding position. The filler wire contacts both aluminum components on the welding position in lateral direction in power-free manner. The aluminum components are welded to each other over an overlap-free butt joint or a bordering seam impact. The filler wire is brought to the welding position in flexing-free manner.
