<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sound richness, the growth and gorgeousness of a high frequency sound, and the powerfulness of a low frequency sound when a sound source with high compression rate is reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: A gain adding circuit 12 adds a gain to a nonlinear input/output level characteristic which is mutually different for each of a positive wave form and a negative wave form of an audio signal. The input/output characteristic of one of the positive or negative waveform has a characteristic that the output level is not lowered to a minimum level when the input level is the minimum level. The input/output level characteristic of the waveform at the other side of the positive side and the negative side holds the input level from the minimum level to a prescribed level, and holds the output level at the minimum level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
