PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a data migration system, enabling data processing using a storage device to be continued in the state where the storage device is exchanged without a data mismatching. SOLUTION: The control device includes: a copying means for starting copying processing to copy information in a first storage device to a second storage device, when receiving a switchover instruction of the storage device, and after the completion of the copying processing, determining whether the information stored in the second storage device becomes identical to the information stored in the first storage device; and a migration management means for allowing a plurality of processing devices to store information to be stored into the first storage device also into the second storage device, when receiving the switchover instruction, and when the decision result of the copying means indicates to be identical, suspending the use of the first and second storage devices by specified processing devices other than one of the plurality of processing devices, switching the one processing device into a switchover state in which the second storage device is used without using the first storage device, and thereafter, shifting the specified processing devices into switchover states one by one.
