PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a display device having the same are provided to implement a display screen with high contrast ratio by applying a local dimming. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit of a display device comprises a substrate, one or more light source part, a light guide plate(330), a reflection sheet, and a light receiving part. The light source part is placed along a longitudinal direction of the substrate. The light guide plate comprises a light incident part(331) and a light emitting part(335). The reflection sheet is placed on the lower part of the light guide part. |
