PURPOSE: A battery management method using a learning dark current is provided to save a dark current which is consumed in a battery by setting the mode of a battery management sensor through the dark current during a vehicle is parked. CONSTITUTION: In a battery management method using a learning dark current, if a vehicle is parked and an engine is turned off, an intelligent battery sensor measures the dark current of the vehicle and compares it with an absolute value of a threshold current. If the measured dark current is higher than the absolute value, the intelligent battery sensor is operated in a normal mode. If measured dark current is not higher than the absolute value, the intelligent battery sensor is operated in a sleep mode.
