PURPOSE: A the vision inspection method for ferrule is provided to measure the tolerance of size and geometric tolerance of the ferrule efficiently so as to classify ferrules according to the user and supply the classified ferrules. CONSTITUTION: A vision inspection method for ferrule includes the step of measuring the electrical field and parallelism of an electric potential ferrule, the step of fixing the electric potential ferrule to the ferrule rotation fixing finger, the step of measuring the inside diameter and back-end incline of the electric potential ferrule, the step of measuring the slope inside diameter, width and tilt angle, and the step of measuring the external diameter and angle of the peripheral inclined surface. In the step of measuring the electrical field and parallelism of the electric potential ferrule, when a plurality of touch probes(186) descends and comes into contact with the top face of the electric potential ferrule(13) placed on a parallel plate, each offset indicated by linear gauges installed on the parallel plate is used. The back-end of the electric potential ferrule faces upward in the step of fixing the electric potential ferrule to the ferrule rotation fixing finger electric potential ferrule. The plane of the electric potential ferrule is photographed by a plane vision camera arranged on the top of the electric potential ferrule and a back mirror having a mirror face inclined inside the electric potential ferrule so as to measure the slope inside diameter, width and tilt angle of the electric potential ferrule. The side of the electric potential ferrule is photographed using a side vision camera so as to measure the external diameter and angle of the peripheral inclined surface.
