PURPOSE: A non-oriented electric steel sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the growing ability of grains by increasing the density of coarse inclusion in steel and reducing the generation frequency of fine inclusion. CONSTITUTION: A slab is heated to a temperature of 1,100-1,250°C and the heated slab is hot-rolled where finish hot-rolling is implemented at a temperature of 800°C or higher. The hot-rolled plate is processed in a batch annealing furnace at a temperature of 850-1,100°C and cold-rolled at a reduction ratio of 70-95wt%. The cold-rolled plate is finally annealed at a temperature of 750-1,100°C. Al of 0.3~0.5% is added for deoxidation. The slab comprises Al: 1.0~3.0wt%, Si: 0.5~2.5wt%, Mn: 0.5~2.0wt%, N: 0.001~0.004wt%, S: 0.0005~0.004wt%, P: 0.2wt% or less, and the remaining amount of Fe and impurities.
