CROWN CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STAINLESS STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for the crown controlling of a hot-rolled stainless steel plate are provided to reduce a longitudinal crown deviation by reducing the change rolling loads at a first rolling stand. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for the crown controlling of a hot-rolled stainless steel plate comprises a cooler(200) and a process controller(500). The cooler controls the surface temperature of a steel plate input into a finishing rolling mill by spraying cooling water to the steel plate. The process controller controls the flow rate of the cooling water by estimating the temperature change of the steel plate and calculating the compensation quantity of the cooling water.
