A WIDE RANGE RADIATION DETECTOR SYSTEM USING GAS SCINTILLATION

PURPOSE: A wide range radiation detector system using flash of gas is provided to measure the radiation of low and high frequency. CONSTITUTION: A wide range radiation detector system using flash of gas comprises an opaque housing, an opaque incident window(200), a glass plate, and an optical sensor. The electric insulation having a hollow part accepting the flash of gas is located in the opaque housing. The opaque incident window is installed in the front side opening of the housing. The opaque incident window is made of a conductive material. The glass plate is installed in the back side opening of the housing in parallel with the incident window. The transparency conductivity material coats the glass plate. The optical sensor is attached to the rear side of the glass plate.
