PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for estimating musical performance are provided to confirm the performance ability of a user by supplying performance result data. CONSTITUTION: An original music is displayed(S101). An audio signal is inputted from a microphone. The audio signal is analyzed. Music feature information including pitch and tempo is extracted(S103). The musical note is generated by using the extracted music feature information(S105). The generated musical note is displayed(S107).
