The method involves obtaining ratio from a relation that comprises absolute values of determined voltages when the absolute value of voltage is equal to absolute value of another voltage. Another ratio is obtained from another relation, where the absolute value of the former voltage is equal to absolute value of the latter voltage. Position of a magnetic element (A) is determined by direct communication with calculated ratios. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for determining position of center of gravity of a magnetic element, comprising a calculating unit (2) a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for determining position of center of gravity of a magnetic element.
