The method involves remotely realizing the configuration of a multimedia device (1) by communicating devices (3-5) e.g. portable telephone, of a third person e.g. social worker, via a centralized server (2), by connecting the device to the server, and personalizing subsequent connections. The subsequent connections are realized by an internet-type global network. Content from a service provider (6) and an information provider (7), is selected among a content cluster presented like a cluster of TV channels. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for addressing multimedia content to a person (2) a server comprising a formatting and/or filtering unit.
