摘要 PURPOSE: Optical glass and an optical element are provided to obtain a superior devitrification resistant characteristic by optimizing the content of glass compositions. CONSTITUTION: Optical glass includes 60-75% of B_2O_3, 24-39% of Bi_2O_3, 7% or less of La_2O_3, 7% or less of Gd_2O_3, and 7% or less of ZrO_2, based on mol%. The total content of the La_2O_3, Gd_2O_3, and ZrO_2 is between 0.3 and 10%. The optical glass additionally includes one or more components selected from a group including 5% or less of SiO_2, 5% or less of GeO_2, 5% of less of Ta_2O_5, 5% of less of Nb_2O_5, 5% or less of WO_3, and 1% or less of Sb_2O_3. The glass transition temperature of the optical glass is 500 degrees Celsius or less, and the Abbe number of the optical glass is between 15.0 and 30.0. The optical element is formed based on the optical glass.
