PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional hoisting type base isolation device, which may cause deterioration of functions due to contact between support columns and requires increase of clearances, which are arranged above and below an installation place and around a base isolation target, and reinforcement of the support column to prevent buckling of the supporting support column when length of a hoisting support member consisting of a hanger and a support column is increased to improve an insulation function and a damping function. SOLUTION: A hoisting type base isolation device is formed by connecting hoisting support members into multiple layers. Each of the hoisting support members is formed of a pendulum motion body constructed by connecting a hanger and a support column together via a top plate, a bottom plate, or a beam.
