<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist the motion of recovering the inclination angle of a person's body in a reference direction. <P>SOLUTION: The balancing device includes a sensor, at least one flywheel and a controller. The sensor detects the inclination angle of the body relative to the reference direction. The at least one flywheel is disposed in the balancing device in such a state that the axis is not parallel to a yaw axis of the body when the device is attached to the person. The yaw axis of the body corresponds to the longitudinal direction of the body, and the yaw axis matches the reference direction when the person stands upright.
