PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated type battery capable of securing safety, as a specific site is preferentially opened at abnormal rise of internal pressure. SOLUTION: In the laminated type battery housing an electrode body having a sheet-shape cathode, a sheet-shape anode and a separator in a laminated film outer package body structured of a metal laminate film at least laminating a metallic layer and a thermal fusion resin layer, at a thermally sealed part at a part where a cathode outer terminal and an anode outer terminal are drawn outside out of a peripheral edge part of the laminated film outer package body, a part protruded further inward into the battery than at other parts exists, and at a part further protruded inward into the battery than the other parts, a part penetrating from one side to the other is provided in the metallic layer of at least one of the metal laminated films superposed, with a part protruded further inward into the battery than the other parts to be a bent part.
