PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyword detecting device and method for easily and quickly obtaining a keyword of an issue in a specific field by detecting the keyword from RSS (really simple syndication) information. SOLUTION: The keyword detecting device and method are provided. The keyword detecting method includes: collecting RSS information to extract words from the RSS information, computing the importance of the words; and selecting the keyword from the words according to the importance.
