<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scaffold device such as a prefabricated scaffold which is used in construction sites and civil engineering works and which comprises gap closing boards for closing the gaps formed on both sides of a scaffold board. <P>SOLUTION: This scaffold device is configured by laterally arranging a plurality of rows of frames A each including a pair of front and rear vertical members 1a, 1b and a horizontal member 2 installed between the vertical members 1a, 1b, installing a scaffold board 3 between the adjacent horizontal members 2, 2, and erecting base boards 4 on both front and rear sides of the scaffold board 3 in the longitudinal direction. The base member 4 includes a connection part 5 formed at the upper end in the longitudinal direction, a base board body 6 which is arranged continuously with the lower part 54 of the connection part 5 and tilted in the direction in which the base board body is separated from the vertical members 1a, 1b, and the plate-like gap closing board 7 which is arranged continuously with the lower end of the base board body 6 and positioned horizontally or tilted. The base board member can be connected to the vertical members 1a, 1b by engaging the vertical member joint A with the connection part 5 at any position.
