PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device, preventing the occurrence of abnormal noises from a ball bearing journaling a pinion shaft and securing assemblability. SOLUTION: Fit between an inner race 38b of a center bearing 38 and the pinion shaft 4 is set as so-called clearance fit to secure assemblability, while an energizing member 43 energizing the inner race 38b of the center bearing 38 downward is provided on the pinion shaft 4 for preventing the occurrence of stick slip between the pinion shaft 4 and the inner race 38b of the center bearing 38 to suppress the occurrence of abnormal noises from the center bearing 38.
