PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing film forming polymers with S. Vulgaris extract is provided to ensure skin stability and skin barrier recovery. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for UV protection contains 1-20 weight% of film forming polymers, 0.1-25 weight% of inorganic UV blocking agent, 0.1-25 weight% of organic UV blocking agent, 1-50 weight% of oil or wax ingredient, 1-30 weight% of silicon polymer, and 0.1-20 weight% of surfactant. The film forming polymer is vinyl acetate, ethyl acrylate, methyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, or mixture thereof.
