PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector member capable of further carrying out retention and restraint of a terminal, without fail. SOLUTION: A retainer 20 is to be engaged with a housing 10 by an auxiliary protrusion 24 in the vicinity of a hinge part 21. When a wire 18 is pulled, or the like, in the housing 10 equipped with the retainer 20, a step part 11c of a female terminal 11 pushes a protrusion 23 against a wire 18 side, and the retainer 20 is pressed toward a hinge part 21 side; but the retainer 20, since it is engaged with the housing 10 by the auxiliary protrusion 24 in the vicinity of the hinge part 21, the retainer 20 is prevented from displacing so as to lift up, on a hinge part 21 side.
