PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet film coating composition in which segmentation properties are improved relating to a tablet film coating composition which is a tablet film coating composition used for a segmentation tablet used for a medical use drug, and in which when being made to be a segmentation tablet, the segmentation properties are improved. SOLUTION: The tablet film coating composition includes hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and lactose, and is characterized in that the proportion of lactose hydrate to hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is specified.
