<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable estimation of a staying place where a user routinely stays, even if position data can not be obtained in other than discrete and long periods. <P>SOLUTION: At first, on the basis of GPS data acquired from portable terminals MS1 to MSn, a position information generation unit 212 obtains the staying points and movement destination points of the portable terminals MS1 to MSn in units of local areas defined on map data in a meshed pattern. Then, a staying spot calculation unit 213 calculates a stay probability for each local area of the portable terminals MS1 to MSn based on information on the obtained staying spots and movement destination spots. Further, an inter-staying spot arriving possibility check unit 214 calculates a movement probability by time period, and estimates the transition of staying places of the portable terminal from the movement probability by time period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
