PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk memory device wherein a useful and stable runout measurement function is achieved. SOLUTION: The disk drive which makes the head 10 move along a target orbit on the disk 1 by servo control includes a microprocessor 14 which calculates, as a runout, a virtual target orbit value supplied to the feedback controller to suppress a disturbance at the target orbit when measuring the runout of the disk 1.
