<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel unit, wherein an adhesive sheet can be intentionally left in a desired position of one of a protection plate and a display panel when separating the protection plate and the display panel from each other. <P>SOLUTION: The display panel unit includes: the display panel (3); the protection plate (4) disposed on the light output side of the display panel; and the adhesive sheet (1) disposed between the display panel and the protection plate.
