PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gathering apparatus capable of facilitating recovery work of an error set while continuing a gathering operation. SOLUTION: The gathering apparatus includes a reject storage part 11 for storing an error set; reject set number counting means 16 of counting error sets of the reject storage part 11; a stop control part 18 for stopping a gathering operation when a counted value reaches a predetermined value; reject set detection means 12 of, when all error sets are taken out from the reject storage part, detecting it; a gathering error memory 27; a display control part 28; and a display screen 29. When all the error sets are taken out during a gathering operation, it is detected, the description of the error is read out from a gathering error memory and displayed on a display screen. When the number of error sets in the reject storage part reaches a predetermined value, gathering operation is stopped and the description of the error is displayed on a display screen.
