PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by facilitating confirmation of moving image data from thumbnail image data. SOLUTION: When moving image data inputted from an imaging element 14 are data to be recorded cooperatively with recording of still image data, a system control circuit 50 produces thumbnail image data based on a final frame of the moving image data or a frame in the vicinity of the final frame.
