<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in a coordinate input apparatus for making an input by pen-down/light emission of an input direction device to an inputting region lighted by a device body, if simultaneous inputs occur by the plurality of input indicating devices, emission of each indicating device and body lighting are superimposed and information identification becomes hard, and thereby, the responsiveness in writing decreases. <P>SOLUTION: For each of the plurality of input indicating devices, during the pen-up state, time counting of emission timing at the last pen-down is continued for a predetermined time period. If pen-down occurs again at timing (a) within the predetermined time period, each input indicating device emits light at the emission timing where time counting is continued. At this time, the emission cycles are made different for each input indicating device, and thus, superimposing of emission can be sharply decreased in simultaneous writing, and the responsiveness in writing is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
