<p>A height adjustable table (10) including at least one mechanism for adjusting the height of the table, the mechanism including first and second members (23,26) being pivotally connected together about a pivot axis (27) and the relative movement of the first and second members (23,26) is substantially confined to rotation about the pivot axis (27) only the first member (23) includes a first engagement region being spaced away from the pivot axis (27), the second member (26) includes a second engagement region being spaced away from the pivot axis (27) and means (42) for effecting pivotal movement of the first and second members (23,26) about the pivot axis (27), whereby the height of the table is adjusted.</p> |
