The device (6) has a bellows connection (14) selectively connectable or lockable with a pneumatic connection (18) or exhaust connection (12). A lifting/lowering valve e.g. 3/2-way valve, and retaining valves e.g. 2/2-way valves and diaphragm valves, are actuatable by actuation of a manual actuating element. A compressor air connection of a pneumatically actuatable locking device is connected with the supply connection, where the locking device is unlockable, as pressure at the supply connection is decreased or unavailable.
