<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the operation state of a solar cell panel. <P>SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation device includes the solar cell panel 2 having terminals 5 for outputting generated electric power, a radiowave transmitting means connected between the terminals and transmitting a radiowave by utilizing a tuning circuit 3 operating on the basis of the voltage between the terminals, and a means for supplying a current from the solar cell panel 2 or another solar cell panel 2 connected to the solar cell panel 2 to the tuning circuit 3. The radiowave transmitting means connected between the terminals of the solar cell panel 2 transmits the radiowave according to the voltage between the terminals, so it can be determined whether the radiowave is transmitted, for example, in accordance with whether the solar cell panel 2 is normal or abnormal.
