PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for automatically recording an image related to an image of which the a user desires photographing. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes an imaging means to image object images to generate moving image data; a storage means capable of storing the moving image data generated by the imaging means; a determination means to determine whether own device is held in an imaging attitude by a user; and a recording means for starting the recording into the storage means of the moving image data imaged by the imaging means, in response to the determination by the determination means that own device is held in the imaging attitude, and cause the storage means to store the moving image data for the predetermined latest period.
