PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a long period from start to a normal cycle operation in a cooling device in which a rotational frequency of a compressor is controlled. SOLUTION: This cooling device includes a control device C for making a present temperature approach a target temperature by proportionally controlling at least the rotational frequency of the compressor 26 configuring a refrigerating cycle, on the basis of deviation e between the target temperature and the present temperature. The control device C decreases a coefficient to perform the control based on the deviation e when the present temperature is higher than the target temperature, and increases the coefficient when the present temperature is lower than the target temperature.
