The light (1) has an illuminated light outlet surface (23) with two areas (31, 33), where one of the areas has a surface provided with two layers (39, 41) for reducing translucence of the respective area. One of the layers proximate to a light chamber (9) exhibits more rear light radiations than the other layer. The rear light radiations of the former layer are utilized for controlling the light density of the other area using rear light radiations in the light chamber. Two LEDs (19) formed as illuminant units are arranged at a distance from each other.
