The system has a TV device (1) and a mobile phone (4) that are wirelessly connected with one another over bidirectional communication units (3). The TV device transmits data and program content information to the mobile phone. The mobile phone stores the data and information in a memory. Functions of the TV device are activated based on the data and the information, while the mobile phone transmits data addressed by a display unit (8) to the TV device. The TV device evaluates the transmitted data and executes the functions.
