PURPOSE: A stereoscopic image display method and a display device implementing the same are provided to control the shutter opening and shutting time of shutter glasses on the basis of predicted crosstalk. CONSTITUTION: A separation unit(210) separates an input image into a left-eye compressed image and a right-eye compressed image. A comparison and prediction unit(230) predicts crosstalk depending on a location gradation difference with comparison between the gradation of the left-eye compressed image and the gradation of the right-eye compressed image. A scaling unit(250) up-scales the left-eye compressed image and the right-eye compressed image. A division unit(270) divides a left-eye frame image and a right-eye frame image into sub left-eye images and sub right-eye images.
