PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconium-containing composition which can be desirably used as a crosslinking agent for various resins or a synthesis catalyst for various resins, does not contain a low-boiling solvent such as acetone, and also does not contain high-environmental load toluene. SOLUTION: There are provided a zirconium-containing composition characterized by including a composition prepared by reacting and/or mixing at least a zirconium compound (component A) having a structure composed of 1 atom of zirconium and 4 molecules ofβ-diketone bonded thereto, a carbonic ester (component B), and an alcohol (component C), and a method for producing the zirconium-containing composition.
