<p>The presente invention relates to the description of purified chlorophyll-derived extracts with insecticide activity on larvae of mosquitoes having an impact on public health, such as Culicidae mosquitoes and Simuliidae midges of the order Diptera, larvae of the Schistosoma genus of trematode worms (phylum Platyelminthes), S. mansoni (Africa and South America) and S. japonium (South-East Asia), which cause grastointestinal symptoms, S. haematobium (Africa), which mainly causes urogenital disorders, as well as various aquatic fish parasites, such as those of the species Ichthyophthirius, Dactylogyru, Chilodonella and Glossatella.</p> |
