<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning method and air conditioner, capable of equalizing a temperature distribution in a whole room. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioning method is provided for blowing conditioned air from an outlet into the room as well as conditioning air in the room by sucking in air in the room from suction port. The air conditioner blows the conditioned cold air toward a ceiling wall from the upper of a side wall of the room to cool the ceiling wall, thereby conditioning air.
