PURPOSE: An air-pressure generating system of a facility for automatically transferring and processing domestic waste and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the surging of a turbo blower due to the sharp decrease of flow by clogging of a waste pipe. CONSTITUTION: An air-pressure generating system of a facility for automatically transferring and processing domestic waste comprises an air-pressure generating pipe(10), one or more turbo blowers(20), an air-pressure detecting unit, an intake pipe(30), a valve unit(40) and a control unit. The turbo blower is connected to the generating pipe to supply air pressure to it. The air-pressure detecting unit is installed on the upstream pipe of the top turbo blower. The intake pipe is formed on the upstream pipe of the top turbo blower and is communicated with the outside. The valve unit is installed on the intake pipe. The control unit controls opening degree of the valve unit of the intake pipe based on the detection signal of the air-pressure detecting unit.
